Interesting news, past meetings and more...

January started off with an educational meeting followed by February's meeting on Mexico and was sponsored by Travel Impressions. Heather brought in Riviera Maya area tourism and also Cancun Tourism.

March meeting was at the Armed Forces Museum with free tour and use of their Captain's Club. Air Berlin sponsored this meeting and Dusseldorf Tourism attended with lots of great information on this area.

April was our Annual Member Vendor Meeting. We had a huge turnout and as always we want to promote and use the vendors who take the time and effort to help us.

May's meeting was our Annual Vacations In Your Neighborhood Travel/Trade Show. This show promotes hotels, tourism boards and attractions closer to home.

On June 11'11 STIA had the opportunity to partake in a FAM to the Charlotte Harbor area of Florida.
July-Summer Vacation

August 24- Caribbean Showcase- We learned about important updates and also new sales opportunites from our  wonderful Caribbean Vendors.

Sept 28- Peggy Steele and Linda Hutchinson organized a great Cruise Show at the Tampa Port!

Oct. 26- We had a very special AFRICA show/meeting. We had the opportunity to meet many African vendors with whom to do business with when our clients ask for that trip of a lifetime to Africa. This night's meeting was held at the famous Busch Gardens in Tampa.

Nov16--Hawaii Educational Show at Holiday Inn Harbourside brought us lots of useful information.
